Try this quick, healthy and delicious salad to compliment any meal or enjoy it as a refreshing light lunch. Our maple vinaigrette recipe is simple and easy to make, whether you’re cooking for one or sharing with friends and family.
- How’s your garden growing? Here in Wisconsin it’s time to harvest lettuce!
- Fresh lettuce, strawberries, walnuts and of course organic maple syrup.
- Pure, Organic Maple Syrup is a 100% natural sugar, rendered from the sap of a maple tree.
Strawberry Walnut Maple Vinaigrette Salad Recipe (10 minutes)
6 oz spring greens or spinach (organic if possible)
1/2 c. walnuts
1/4 c. feta crumbles
5+ strawberries, sliced (organic if possible)
Maple Valley Maple Vinaigrette
1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. Balsamic vinegar
1/8 c. Maple Valley organic maple syrup
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Dash salt and pepper to taste
- Put all Vinaigrette ingredients into a bowl and whisk or a mason jar and shake (kids would love this part!).
- Shake it up!
- If cooking for one or two build your salad and apply dressing per plate.
- Wash all produce
- Slice strawberries
- Combine all salad ingredients into a medium/large bowl
- Put all Vinaigrette ingredients into a bowl and whisk or a mason jar and shake (kids would love this part!)
- Add the Maple Valley Maple Vinaigrette dressing with salad in bowl, toss and serve!
