Maple Barbecue Sauce
Sweet and tangy zest for the best grilled food ever!
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 3/4 cup Maple Valley organic maple syrup
- dash black pepper
- dash cayenne or chili pepper ((or more according to taste))
- 1/4 cup Lapsang Souchong tea for liquid smoke flavor ((optional))

Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer briskly on the stove for 20-30 minutes.
Use on meat, tempeh, or any of your barbecue dishes!
