Iced Herb Tea Sweetened with Maple

Quick on the stove – or for fun, make in the sun!

  • 4 1/2 cups good quality water
  • 2 sprigs fresh or dried peppermint, lemon balm, you favorite herbs (or 1-2 tea bags)
  • Maple Valley organic maple syrup (to taste)
  1. Bring water to a boil.

  2. Add tea bag or torn peppermint or lemon balm leaves to water. Stir.

  3. Let steep for 10 minutes – longer for stronger flavor.

  4. Strain and cool for iced tea.

  5. For Sun Tea: 

    Put water & fresh herbs or tea bags in a jar and set in the sun for 2-4 hours.

  6. Sweeten to taste with Maple Valley organic maple syrup.
